Wild Goose Choir
Choirs
Wild Goose Choir is a mixed-voice community choir that sings folk music ranging from traditional pieces to newer material. It welcomes complete beginners with no audition, and asks for a good ear for singing in tune plus a readiness to learn new vocal techniques. Rehearsals are held on Tuesday evenings in term time from 7pm to 9pm, with performances planned at least twice a year.

Choirs
Viva is a small choir in Buckfastleigh with around 15 to 20 singers. It meets fortnightly on Thursdays from 1pm to 2.30pm and sings music for women’s or upper voices in three and four parts, including songs from Bulgaria, Africa and Georgia, plus pop and folk pieces. The group also performs locally from time to time. Attendance costs £10 per session or £8 a week for a term.

Thula Mama is a mother and baby singing group that teaches lullabies and simple harmonies, with the aim of building mothers’ confidence and offering a social space. It is open to any mum with a pre-crawling baby, and session times vary.
